Solicitation updates: 52.212-1(k) is hereby changed to read: Technical Capability Quotations of equal products must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified in this solicitation. The offeror shall provide proof wind load, and snow load requirements through a test report or a stamped engineering certification. 52.212-2(a) is hereby changed to read: Technical Acceptability The Government will evaluate quotes to determine whether the offered item meets the salient characteristics, including the test report or stamped engineering certification to substantiate that the offered item can withstand the snow load and wind load requirements. This Solicitation is hereby extended to December 31st, 2019 (4:30 pm MST) to accommodate the holiday schedule. The question period is now closed. 2. Questions and Answers Are certified test reports from an independent test lab or company required with proposals that validate the proposed shelter meets the wind and snow load requirements? An independent lab report is not necessary. Test results can be provided by a report or a stamped engineering certification will be accepted as verification. What is the maximum weight allowed per shelter carry bag? This will be based on the trailer allowable load weight. What are the minimum salient characteristics of the shelter vinyl fabric? There is no minimum specified. Fabric must be compliant with the snow and wind load requirements. What is the minimum number of end uprights required for the shelter frame? There is no required minimum. The frame must support the tent fabric, lights and HVAC. What is the minimum amount of cooling required in BTUs per hour? Enough for human comfort in a Montana summer. High performance. What is the minimum amount of heat required in kW? Enough for human comfort in a Montana winter. High performance. What are the maximum dimensions of the ECU? Determined by the space available on the trailer. What is the maximum weight of the ECU? Determined by the allowable load weight of the trailer. Are any of the following Brand Name features required?
