The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) has a requirement to construct an approximate 18K GSF, 20-bed PTSD Psychiatric Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (PRRTP) building. The patient rooms will be a combination of private and semi-private rooms at the VA Medical Center located in Aurora, CO as per drawings and specifications. NCO 19 is conducting market research to determine if enough competition exists in the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) socio-economic programs. The SDVOSB firms must have the capability and capacity to perform work with a construction magnitude between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The project scope includes general construction for demolition, renovation and new work, alterations, site work, mechanical, electrical, general carpentry, plumbing, civil etc. The current small business size standard for 236220 is $36.5 million. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz at the time of contract award will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive.
