The ... Records Storage STORAGE OF INACTIVE RECORDS Present volume is approximately 300 boxes - most of which are stored in 1.2 cu. ft. boxes (15" x 12" x10"). Annual growth of 100-150 boxes is possible. The majority of Montana VA records will be in paper format, and will be stored in 1.2 cu. ft. boxes. However, the contractor's warehouse must be capable of storing boxes of other sizes, and non-paper records (film, x-rays). LOCAL FACILITY Contractor must have an adequate storage facility and customer research area within or in close proximity to Fort Harrison, Montana. Fort Harrison is preferred location; however, Billings Montana may be considered as an alternate location. All records must be stored in a facility that complies with the requirements in Records Storage Facility Requirements (See Item 7.0).
