The following addresses questions regarding solicitation: 36C25821Q0285. These questions and answers are not incorporated into the solicitation and are only to clarify the procurement. Regarding the eddy current testing and tube brushing: When was the last time the eddy current testing and tube brushing was completed? Answer: Chillers 1, 2, 5A and 5B were last eddy current tested in 2020. Chillers 3 and 4 are new (less than 2 years old) and have not been eddy current tested or brushed. The Surgery and Lab chillers are air cooled; so, there is no eddy current requirement. The Surgery and Lab chillers are also sealed condenser; so, there is no brushing requirement. Testing and brushing for this effort should be completed annually. If eddy current testing was completed more than 3 years ago, please confirm eddy current testing needs to be done in the base and OY3. Answer: Testing and brushing for this effort should be completed annually.
