This is a PRESOLICIATION notice. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contract Office (NCO) 22-G intends to issue a solicitation for contractors to provide On-Site Cardiac Perfusionist Services at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS). The Estimated Period of Performance is: 11/01/2021 to 10/31/2026 including four (4), twelve (12) month option periods. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 622110 (General Medical and Surgical Hospitals) with a small business size standard of $41.5M. This solicitation will be posted as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. Only one award will be made from this solicitation. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the Performance Work Statement that will be included in the solicitation. The Perfusionist/Auto transfusionist service is required as needed according to SAVAHCS surgery schedule Monday through Friday to support these procedures and patients that are in the Intensive Care Unit requiring balloon pump/Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) support. The requirement is for the contractor to provide Board Certified Perfusionists and a Certified Auto transfusionist. The contracted perfusionist will support the emergency services as well as provide coverage during vacation, illness, etc. The contracted Perfusionist shall be in an on-call status for 24 hours a day and seven (7) days a week including all Federal Holidays and be within 30 minutes of the facility to support these emergent cases. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.
