Page 2 of 2 The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22G has a services requirement for Community Nursing Homes (CNH) in the Maricopa and Gila Counties in the State of Arizona. The Community Nursing Home (CNH) program is a key component of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) continuum of care under authority 38 U.S.C. 1745. Nursing home care will be furnished to ensure the total medical, nursing, and psycho-social needs of VA beneficiaries. The nursing home shall ensure that care meets the health needs and promotes the maximum well-being of VA patients. Physician visits, laboratory, x-ray, and other special services for VA patients will be at the same frequency as that provided to other patients at the nursing home receiving the same or comparable level of care. In addition, the care provided will include room, meals, nursing care, and other services or supplies commensurate with the VA authorized level of care, without extra charge. All therapy services will be provided by a licensed professional staff and follow the Medicare regulation and procedures of progress toward identified goals. The contractor is required to follow Medicare/Medicaid standards for all VA placements. The per diem rate is established by the current Medicaid rate for Medicaid approved nursing homes. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 623110 with a small business size standard of $30M. This solicitation will be posted unrestricted. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ). Multiple awards may result from this solicitation. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the Performance Work Statement that will be included in the solicitation.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Solicitation Package 36C25821Q0103 shall be posted on Contract Opportunities on or about June 1, 2021.  No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. All offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to a solicitation must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov.
