The VA has a Construction requirement for a Upgrading the Operating Room Ventilation System, Project 605-19-401, at the Loma Linda VA Healthcare System (LLVAHCS), located in Loma Linda, California. Contractor will be required to provide construction services to include all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to successfully execute the construction plans. The project includes General Construction. General Construction includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing equipment and construction and certain other items. The project will involve but not be limited to trades required for the complete renovation of areas indicated on the drawings. A Critical Path Method (CPM) Plan and schedule demonstrating fulfillment of contract requirements will be required. Solicitation documents, including Statement of Work (SOW), Drawings, and Specifications, will be available electronically, on or about the issue date listed above, at the Beta SAM.GOV Contract Opportunities website: https://beta.sam.gov/ In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, and VAAR 836.204(g), the magnitude of construction for the project is between $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00 Interested bidders should search for Invitation for Bid (IFB) number 36C25821B0022. The acquisition is a Total Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the Size Standard is $39.5M. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Construction contract. The Period of Performance is 270 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bid bond will be required.
