IFB 36C25821B0007.1 Project Title: Convert Bldg 126 8th North to Private Rooms Long Beach, CA Project Type: Construction Project Overview CONVERT BLDG. 126, 8TH FLOOR NORTH TO SINGLE PATIENT ROOMS. This requirement is for construction services to convert the 8th Floor North of Building 126 in the Long Beach VA Health Care System (VALBHCS) to Single Patient Rooms. This requirement is classified under construction as it calls for the alteration of real property. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, certification, supervision, and materials necessary to perform all operations in connections with this order. Contractor shall perform work in strict accordance with the General Specifications, Statement of Work, schedule, and all other supporting documents for this contract. Construction to include all architectural finishes including flooring, ceiling, corner guards, wall protection, bumper rails/handrails, plumbing, HVAC, emergency and normal power, nurse call, and low voltage signaling systems shall be upgraded. Construction will include but is not limited to Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Material and Fixtures, Medical Gases, Electrical and Low Voltage.
