Page 4 of 4 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office (NCO) 22 - Gilbert intends to solicit for a contractor to provide Environmental Management Services (EMS) at the PVAHCS for hospital housekeeping services for Weekend (Sunday and Saturday) Ward Housekeeping Services (square footage is approximately 469,434 sq ft) of the Phoenix VA Health Care System. (PVAHCS) located at 650 E. Indian School Road Phoenix, AZ 85012. The areas are located in Building 1 and Building 16 (building #16 is connected to building #1) and will require all 3 shifts covered (1st shift, 2nd shift and 3rd shift), Coverage shall also include any Federal Holiday which fall on that Sunday or Saturday. Weekend areas requiring Housekeeping support staff are but not limited to; 2A, 2C, 2D, 3A, 3B, 4A, 4C, 4D, 4E, 5C, 5D, CLC1 (Building #16), CLC2 (Building #16), IR, ICU, SPD, VCS Canteen, Canteen Store, C335, OR, In. Pt. Blood Lab, ENT, In Patient Pharmacy, Hemo/Cath and 6th GI Clinic and Sleep Lab to include waiting rooms of the areas and all public restrooms and main hallways within the main hospital medical center. Additionally, elevators, stairwells, deep cleaning of upholstery and carpet as needed throughout. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management support to facilitate cleaning. Contractor shall maintain the facilities in accordance with Environmental Service Sanitation Procedure Guide that meet Aseptic Cleaning medical industry standards and the joint commission. This requirement is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract, and the contract period will be for a one (1) year period, with four (4) potential option years to be exercised at the option of the Government. The electronic solicitation/proposal shall be issued on or about July 20, 2020 and may be downloaded from the following URL https://beta.sam.gov/. The solicitation number is 36C25820R0047. The VA intends to make a single award as a result from this solicitation.
