Readjustment Counseling Services This is a Sources Sought notice only; no awards will be made from this notice. The Prescott Vet Center, Prescott AZ has a requirement for a contractor to provide readjustment counseling services for combat veterans located in and around Flagstaff, AZ. Interested contractors shall have the capability to provide readjustment counseling services to eligible veterans located in rural communities where the veterans reside within the county of Coconino and the city of Flagstaff. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) will not provide a treatment facility for this requirement. The contractor must provide readjustment counseling services to veterans who are assigned to their care. The base year estimated hours; PhD license level individual therapy 150 hours, couples or family therapy 50 hours and LMHC license level individual therapy 177 hours, couples or family therapy 10 hours. The counseling may include traditional psychotherapeutic modalities, but the purpose of psychotherapy (or any modality) must be, as a primary task, to address readjustment difficulties derived from military duties and the homecoming experience. Medications and physical examinations shall not be a component of the contracted readjustment counseling services; however, the contractor must have the capability to provide medications and physical examinations directly or can arrange physical assessments, medical treatment and therapy through referral. The contractor and all staff members providing counseling services shall be licensed in accordance with Federal, State, and/or local requirements and certification(s) applicable to the performance of this type of counseling service.
