This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22 - Gilbert, is conducting market research to identify potential vendor which can provide a Contracted Intra-Operative Neurophysiological Monitoring Service (IONMS) to be provided in a surgical clinic environment to veterans for the Southern AZ VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS) located at 3601 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ 85723. The provided care shall cover the application and interpretation of various electrophysiological and vascular tests for patients with central and/or peripheral nervous systems and/or vascular systems at risk normally provided in a similar civilian health care facility, in accordance with the specifications and requirements. Clinical and technical direction will be governed by the Attending, Neurosurgery and Anesthesiologist Surgical Care Line, which does include monitoring quality of care, assignment of cases and assignment of physician and/or technologist supervision duties. Further, the SAVAHCS Chief, Surgical Care Line or delegate retains authority to immediately correct any adverse situation potentially affecting the safety of a VA patient. The services shall be available for routine scheduled or emergent cases, 24/7 during surgical business hours (M-F 6:00am 4:30pm). Contractor is responsible for provision of all supplies in support of the services it provides, including monitoring equipment, internet connection and VPN account. The contractor is responsible for meeting or exceeding all VA and Joint Commission (or equivalent) standards, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life/Safety requirements, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Services will be procured under Title 38 United States Code 8153. NAICS Code 621999 All Other Miscellaneous Ambulatory Health Care Services is applicable to determine business size standard of $16.5 Million.
