CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: “605-CSI-901 l CathLab Site Prep l 36C25820B0016 l 605-20-2-6041-0079, Loma Linda VA Health Care System (LLVAHCS). This requirement is for increasing the square footage of the Cath Lab, as well as upgrade it. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. Work includes, but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, equipment, engineering, and services to include: structural, mechanical, electrical, demolition and removal of existing structures; to perform the necessary actions to fulfill this requirement. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of work. The Government will not reimburse the firm for their proposal preparation cost. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit; date, time and location of site visit still to be determined. Information regarding the site visit will be indicated in the solicitation when posted. All offerors are urged and expected to attend. However, work be performed at the following VA facility: LOMA LINDA VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (LLVAHCS): VAMC: 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357 This construction project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $39.5M. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price construction contract. The period of performance of the contract is expected to be 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (inclusive of product lead time), with no options included. The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with FAR 36.204 is projected to be: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. It is anticipated that a Solicitation will be issued in July 2020. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database.
