Project Title: Site Prep for SPS Sterilizers and Equipment, Bldg 126, 7th Floor . Project Type: Construction Project Overview Site Prep for SPS Sterilizers and Equipment, Bldg 126, 7th Floor . Renovate 7415 sf space on the 7th floor of Bldg 126 This project will be phased and will replace the existing Sterilizers with new more efficient sterilizers. The RO water deficiencies will be addressed in the scope of work. This project will improve instrument optimization and water analysis, and address utilities deficiencies and ergonomic issues that meet the current VA Design guidelines for SPS. This project will renovate Building 126, 7th floor to meet the current and future demands of this Medical Center mandated for SPS Sterilizers and Equipment and maintain Hospitals infection control measures. This project will add and install new LED lighting due to poor light output in addition to relocating the employee break room away from the Sterile area optimizing usage of space for SPS. Construction to include decontamination mobile unit, including site preparation, outside of Building 126. This will include leasing of the mobile unit by the general contractor and will allow construction of the 7th floor with minimal phasing thus providing the Medical facility to maintain functional operations. The decontamination mobile unit will also allow this Medical Center to meet tight construction timelines.
