A solicitation will not be issued at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) has a requirement for a Street and Leaf Vacuum Sweeper. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price contract. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the purchase and delivery of the equipment to the Albuquerque, New Mexico VA. Street and Leaf Vacuum Sweeper A dual street sweeper and leaf vacuum is needed to clean and maintain the grounds of the VA facility. 1. General Purpose and Minimum Requirements Heavy-duty, dual-function vacuum and sweeper. 4-wheel, self-contained, and self-propelled (using gasoline, diesel, electricity or some other type renewable energy). To be able to operate on different types of surfaces (e.g. concrete, streets, dirt, grass, etc.). To have a sweeping head able to operate in all terrains. To be able to vacuum leaves and large debris; such as garbage, rubble, pieces of plastic, etc. (up to 30 inches in diameter approximately).
