The purpose of this amendment to this solicitation is to answer the following questions: The base period is only for six months and there are no options for additional years. Is it correct to assume that there are no option periods available? Yes. This is a six-month contract with no option periods. The Pricing Schedule references " Contractor shall, at all times, maintain the facilities identified accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW)" but the hours of operation referenced elsewhere in the solicitation state 6am-4pm and only mon-Fri for a majority of the buildings. Can you confirm the need only to provide service during the operational hours of each building. The SOW was in error and has been corrected. The hours of operation for cleaning the buildings are 7:00 am Midnight. The Solicitation also references the need to Maintain Aseptic Cleaning Practices in Surgical Rooms, Patient Rooms, but the buildings listed seem to reference mainly support buildings. Can you clarify which buildings require which service? Outer building 21 has a pain clinic; this area includes the patient's exam and treatment rooms; rooms will be treated like patient rooms in the hospital with aseptic cleaning practices set forth by hospital policy. Be advised, all questions need to be e-mailed to the Contract Specialist. The Contract Specialist will not take questions over the phone. Questions will always be answered via an Amendment to the Request for Quote.
