The Department of Veterans Affairs, Loma Linda VA Medical Center located at 11201 Benton St. Loma Linda, CA 92357 has a requirement for the demolition and removal offsite of all material and components associated with the dental clinic Dust Hog vacuum system located in service bay four second floor of their facility. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price contract. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of the project located in Loma Linda, CA. The LLVAMC requires removal of the vacuum system as has been deemed obsolete and no longer in use. Specific Tasks. Contractor will conduct demolition and removal offsite of all materials and components associated with the dental clinic Dust Hog vacuum system located in service bay four second floor, at the Loma Linda VA Medical Center in Loma Linda California 11201 Benton St. 92357. The removal and demolition of the vacuum system consists of all the unit components to include the motor, metal containers, frame of the system, internal components, and all ducting which runs from the vacuum unit to the interstitial space to perspective rooms in the dental clinic if applicable. Contractor will fill penetrations in the interstitial and the service bay with appropriate fire penetration sealants and appropriate gypsum sealant for the penetrations of any existing ductwork in the ceilings and interstitial floor of the locations. The scrap from the unit demolition will be removed offsite by the contractor and disposed of into an appropriate area off the VAMC property. Small Businesses for this NAICS code have a size standard of $36.5 million. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price order. The term of the contract is intended to be 30 calendar days ARO, with no options included. It is anticipated that a Request for Quotes will be issued in September 2019. Award of a firm fixed price contract is contemplated by September 2019. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or Small Businesses (SB) capable of performing the requirements to warrant a socio-economic set-aside or full & open competition. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database.
