The Department of Veterans Affairs, New Mexico VA Healthcare System (NMVAHCS) has a Requirement for an Electrical Distribution System for the inflatable hospital tent system during Emergency responses at the NMVAHCS. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price contract. The specification to define the minimum salient characteristics of the product to be delivered can be found in the Salient Characteristics listed below. Albuquerque, NM 87108 The applicable NAICS code is 624230 Emergency and Other Relief Services Small Business manufacturers for this NAICS code have a size standard of $32.5M. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price order. The delivery term is to be 30 calendar days ARO, with no options included. PLEASE INDICATE IN YOUR RESPONSE YOUR BUSINESS SIZE AND IF YOU ARE A MANUFACTURER OR DISTRIBUTOR. NO REFURBISHED OR GRAY MARKET ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED. It is anticipated that a Request for Quotes will be issued in March 2019. Award of a firm fixed price contract is contemplated by April 2019. This notice is published to conduct market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), capable of performing the requirements to warrant a socio-economic set-aside or full & open competition. It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively. Salient Characteristics The Vendor shall provide an electrical grid for the inflatable hospital tent system during Emergency response. Electrical grid system will supply power distribution to the Tent System. The grid system cables shall be configured using connectors already established to the facilities power generating system, the furnishing of all necessary labor, materials, parts, tools, equipment to provide in accordance with the terms, conditions, provisions and specifications contained herein, and in accordance with manufacturer s instructions and specifications. Electrical Distribution Package for 4 Shelter Hospital System will include the following: 2/0 Black Cable with a 300 amp Rating Distribution Box with a 200 amp Rating, cam input, and (6) 50 amp 220v Spider Box Connector Outputs Distribution Box with a 100 amp Rating, cam input, and (5) L2120 three Phase Connector Outputs for 20 amp Quad Stringer Distribution Quad Stringers with (3) 20 amp Duplex Boxes (each with 4 duplex) Quad Stringer Extension (5) Cables banded together with Cam Connectors on each end Tapping T's to branch cable in two Directions
