The VA is conducting sources sought market research for replacement of valves, gaskets, and vent lines on the main steam header and Boilers 1–3 at the Dallas VA Medical Center Energy Center. The work includes labor, materials, equipment, shutdown coordination, lockout/tagout, removal/installation/testing of steam valves and Schedule 80 carbon steel vent piping, high-temperature insulation jackets, and leak checks during startup and campus pressurization to 110 psi. Performance will occur at the Dallas VA Medical Center, Energy Center (Building 70), 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216. The anticipated contract is firm-fixed-price under FAR Part 12 and is expected to be set aside for SDVOSB/VOSB firms under VA’s VETS First Program. Interested firms should demonstrate relevant steam/boiler/industrial piping experience and ability to meet NAICS 238220 size and SBA veteran-owned certification requirements.
