The VA South Texas Health Care System intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for bread products delivered to the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital in San Antonio, TX and the Kerrville VA Medical Center in Kerrville, TX. This is a Sources Sought/RFI for market research only, seeking to assess qualified service-disabled veteran-owned, veteran-owned, small, HUBZone, women-owned, 8(a), and/or large businesses under NAICS 311812 with a 1,000-employee size standard. Delivery is required to Nutrition & Food Service walk-in coolers, with San Antonio service on Tuesday and Friday and Kerrville service on Tuesday, and orders are placed as needed with no substitutions without COR approval. The period of performance is a base year from 12/01/2026 through 11/30/2027, plus option years through 11/30/2031. Goods must meet specified shelf-life, packaging/labeling, inspection, and delivery-personnel requirements, and the Government will use responses to determine the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.
