The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, is seeking sources to determine whether sufficient socioeconomic small businesses can provide a fully automated gel electrophoresis instrument for the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. The instrument must perform serum and urine protein electrophoresis (SPEP/UPEP), immunofixation (SIFE/UIFE), and immunotyping (IT) to identify monoclonal and polyclonal gammopathies.
