The South Texas Veterans Health Care System currently has a requirement for a pr... THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE NOT A SOLICITATION. A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT December 5, 2025. The South Texas Veterans Health Care System currently has a requirement for a project to replace and repair HVAC dampers to improve air quality of Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, at 7400 Merton Minter Boulevard, San Antonio, TX 78229. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment, supervision, and construction services necessary for the installation, repair and replacement of dampers and any associated parts mentioned in the drawings. All construction and installation work shall comply with the VA specifications for material and workmanship, NEC, NFPA and all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations, and codes OSHA standards. The contractor shall plan for all the outages that will occur during weekend or after hours and combine as many outages as possible to reduce the impact on clinical care. Any work that will impact clinical space shall be coordinated with the COR after hours. All construction and installation work shall comply with the VA specifications for material and workmanship, NEC, NFPA and all applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations, and codes OSHA standards. General Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construction project replace and repair HVAC Dampers in accordance with all Contract Documents. All work shall be done in accordance with the SOW. The SOW will be posted with the solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $19M. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
