Responses to this notice will be used for informational purposes only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs from the government will arise as a result from a response to this announcement. No contract will be awarded from this notice. The information requested in this notice will be used to determine if there are sufficient socioeconomic small business concerns that are capable of performing the work described for the requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources for the following procurement: BioFire, Virtuo, and Vitek equipment, reagents, supplies, and equipment maintenance services for the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine (P&LMS) for the VA Amarillo VA Healthcare System, Central Texas VA Healthcare System, North Texas VA Health Care System, South Texas VA Healthcare System, and the West Texas VA Healthcare System (collectively VISN 17). Description of Supplies Required The contractor will need to be able to provide equipment, reagents, and supplies as well as warranty plans, software upgrades, training, manuals, interface, and connection. Maintenance services on equipment are to be provided by OEM-authorized field service engineers.
