This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction Project 549-21-703, EHRM TRAINING AND ADMIN SUPPORT SPACE. The project shall include, but is not limited to, remodeling three existing rooms (room numbers 321, 406, & 407) for temporary EHRM Classrooms (maybe used for other purposes in the future) and one existing office administration, room 414. All rooms are in Building 2. The renovation shall include demolition and remodel of all four rooms to replace: lay-in ceiling system, light fixtures, flooring, wall coverings, IT & electrical outlets. The renovation shall include indoor AC package units in rooms 321, 406, & 407, physical security assessment and upgrades and any hazardous material abatement based on site ACM report. Mechanical work shall involve minor work on the roof that shall involve new curbs and roof repair at the site of the mechanical work, and the installation of wall mounted louvers that shall require penetration and repair at exterior walls where they occur. The project location is at the Sam Rayburn VA Medical Center on 1201 E. 9th St., Bonham, Texas, 75418. A site visit is recommended to confirm all measurements and existing conditions. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA building codes. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $45M. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA shall issue an RFP on or about November 04, 2025, via Contract Opportunities. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, the date, time, and location will be posted in the solicitation.
