H265--Medical Physicist Services
This VA VISN 17 sources-sought/RFI is for planning purposes to identify qualified sources for Medical Physicist Services and may lead to a later solicitation. The contractor must provide a Diagnostic Medical Physicist with specified education, board certifications in radiologic and nuclear medicine physics, and compliance with NRC, ACR, FDA, Joint Commission, and Texas radiation-control requirements, capable of evaluating Nuclear Medicine, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, gamma camera, and Hologic bone densitometry equipment. Performance locations include VA North Texas HCS in Dallas, VA Fort Worth Clinic (Cow Town Clinic), and future CBOCs that establish Nuclear Medicine Service. The anticipated period of performance is a base year plus four option years, with the base year running 01/05/2027–01/04/2028 and option years listed through 01/04/2031. Services include quarterly and annual camera/CT performance and safety evaluations, ACR PET evaluations, initial/acceptance testing, repair follow-ups, shielding integrity evaluations, bone density evaluations, and miscellaneous consulting or meeting attendance.
