The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17 Regional Procurement Office West 124 E Hwy 67 Suite 100 Duncanville TX intends to solely negotiate with Virtualis VR Corp 1013 Centre Road Suite 403S Wilmington DE 19805 for the procurement of a Motion VR+ stand and plates Scope of Work: Motion VR+ stand and plates will be implemented with the already supplied VR equipment to provide expanded virtual reality rehabilitation services. The Motion VR+ Software/Hardware & Accessores: All the software of Assessments and Functional Rehabilitation in Virtual Reality adapted to Physiotherapy practices as well as to Balance & Rehabilitation Clinics. An infinite field of applications: Joint amplitudes, Motor coordination, Balance, Hemiplegia, Proprioception, Mirror therapy, Fall prevention, Muscular work of the limbs Sup./Inf./Rachis, Rehabilitation for ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), Cognition, Pain management, Specific exercises Rachis in the 3 planes, etc Delivery, installation and set up of Motion VR+ plates will be conducted by the contractor at no additional charge to the government. Equipment will be delivered to the PTRP Building, 4949 Gus Eckert, San Antonio, TX 78240.The motion VR + Stands shall Integrate with existing VR equipment already purchased. Motion VR+ will involve patient being harnessed into system whereupon VR software will physically affect the patient in various ways for quantifiable results. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1)(ii), Soliciting from a Single Source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing Small Business Size 1,000 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, Contractors may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the contracting officer whether to continue with the sole source procurement or to provide for competition. Also, prospective contractor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller to the Department of Veterans Affairs for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
