This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 36C25724Q0760 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03. The NAICS Code for this request for quotes is 325413 (1,250 Employees). The items being requested are as follows: Brand Name or Equal (Fisherbrand, HistoPrep) Denatured Alcohol, 95% for Histology, Reagent Grade Alcohol for Histology, Xylene for Histology. The items being requested are for the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System, Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital, San Antonio, TX. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria are technical acceptability and price. Under technical includes the ability to provide all of the requested items in accordance with the Statement of Work, provide a letter of authorization to distribute products (if not the manufacturer). The Government will only accept Domestic End Products. Offerors are to provide a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. There are no addenda to this clause.
