THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE AN INFORMATION FOR BIDS WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT December 1, 2023 Title: Roof Replacement of Building 18, West Texas VA Medical Center Big Spring, Texas NAICS code: 238160 with a small business size of $19M Per FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $ 1,000,000.00. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) with General Construction Contracting experience for the replacement of the roof for building 18 located at the West Texas VA Medical Center 300 Veterans Blvd. Big Spring, TX 79720. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: 120 Days From receipt of Notice to Proceed. STATEMENT OF WORK: The project will include all labor, materials, equipment, supervision to perform the required work to replace the roof on building 18. The scope of this project will require coordination between the contactor, COR and VA staff. Ultimately the means and methods to perform this work and determine a sequence of work will be determined by the contractor. A site visit will be required to confirm all measurements and existing conditions. Important Notice: Apparent successful offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
