The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) Engineering Service has historically procured maintenance supplies in a wide variety of ways. The use of the Government purchase card being one, while a useful tool for maintenance supplies the scale and decentralized nature of this process has created some inadvertent consequences. Small micro- purchases add up, consuming large amounts of manpower for the purchasing agent, technicians, warehouse, and the leadership chain to approve the payments of micro-purchases. Engineering Service seeks to centralize the procurement of maintenance supplies with a rapid, agile supply process that is responsive to demand. The purpose of this procurement is to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for all Maintenance Repair and Operation (MRO) supplies and materials for CTVHCS. Amendment 0001 has been issued on 11-08-2023 to provide a RFQ response due date and time extension. Amendment 0002 has been issued on 11-30-2023 to provide a RFQ response due date and time extension. Amendment 0003 has been issued on 12/20/2023 to cancel the RFQ in its entirety. It is anticipated that this requirement will be resolicited at a later date and time.
