The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 intends to issue a solicitation for First Assist - Robotics Services for the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) Dallas VAMC, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216. The Contractor shall provide one (1) FTE First Assist - Robotics staff member for procedures in the Operating Room (OR) including related technical support under the direction of the collaborating physician. The VA anticipates that an average of 364 cases a year with an average of 7 cases a week and an average time per case of 1 hour including room turnover. The solicitation will be set-aside for Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). The anticipated RFQ release date is September 7, 2023, closing on September 28, 2023. The contract shall be for the period of one (1) Base Year plus four (4) one (1)-year Option Years. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management (SAM) prospective contractors must be registered in SAM to be eligible for award. SAM registration is required under the applicable north American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code. The NAICS code for this procurement is 621111, Offices of Physicians, except Mental Health Specialists and the size standard is $16 Million.
