This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and is a market research tool to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. O Brien, Jr. VA Medical Center are seeking to acquire annual support for the Patient ID Wristband system. located in Amarillo VA Medical Center at 6010 Amarillo Blvd W. Amarillo TX 79106 and Lubbock Outpatient Clinic at 3510 4th Street Lubbock, Texas 79415 and West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS) George H. O Brien, Jr. VA Medical Center 300 Veterans Boulevard Big Spring, TX 79720 DELIVERABLES: Support shall include: Annual support, including patches to address necessary software fixes, updates needed to maintain operability and usability of the software, and access to all support items normally supplied to commercial customers. Technical and customer service telephone support. Support shall be made available between 8:00 a.m. EST and 8:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. Access to technical support staff with elevated VA privileges/security clearance that have in-depth application knowledge and expertise required to assist VA staff with troubleshooting efforts, when requested to ensure maximum application and software performance within the VA infrastructure. Technical support staff to maintain complete functionality of BioPoint Patient ID Wristband system within the VA infrastructure, including emergency database restoration within one (1) business day, in the event of server or workstation failure. Database restoration is contingent on the VA providing necessary network access within timeframes available, and conditional on VA staff completion. Application version upgrades (e.g.: new features with enhanced functionality, upgrade installation assistance, and user documentation updates), including application version upgrades required to maintain VA, information security or privacy needs. VA VPN network access required. The annual maintenance agreement does not include cost of printer replacement (approximately every 3-5 years), or maintenance/support for printers or any hardware. Anticipated BASE period of twelve months, with four option periods. NOTE: The NAICS code is 541519, Other Computer Related Services, Size Standard in number of Employees-150.
