This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing with small business size standards of 750 employees. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, is seeking to purchase a Mobile Firing Range to be located at the Amarillo VA Health Care System in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the stated supplies and services at a fair and reasonable price are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via email to Contract Specialist Shannon Hodgson at shannon.hodgson@va.gov no later than June 13, 2023, 10AM CDT. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses should include the following information: Company name, address, SAM UEI number, point of contact name, phone number and email address Business size and representation(s) of the company (i.e., Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Hubzone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc.) If SDVOSB or VOSB, can business comply with clause 852.219-76 VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting Certificate of Compliance for Supplies and Products in fulfilling the requirements within the draft SOW? Is company considered a small business under the NAICS code 332311 identified under this sources sought? Capability statement as it relates to the attached draft Statement of Work. Does the company manufacture the referenced items or products being offered? If not, what is the business size of the manufacturer of the items being offered? What is the manufacturing country of origin of the items? Does the company alter, assemble, modify the lease items and/or products being offered in any way? If so, state how and what is altered, assembled, modified. Does the company have a current federal contract (i.e., GSA, NAC , SAC, NASA SEWP etc.)? If so, provide the contract type, number and expiration date. If the company has a current federal contract, are the leased items and/or products being offered available on the contract? In addition to the information above and demonstration to the government that the interested party can provide the supplies and/or services that fulfill the required specifications in the draft SOW, please provide any concerns/questions in regard to the draft SOW.
