The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 17), South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) Audie L Murphy VA Medical Center intends to enter into an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Contractors to provide On-Site Gastroenterology Services at Audie L Murphy VA Medical Center, 7400 Merton Minter Street, San Antonio, TX 78229-4404 to veterans and eligible beneficiaries being serviced in San Antonio, TX. he Contractor s physician (s) care shall cover the range of Gastroenterology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art health care medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American College of Physicians-Internal Medicine Clinical Practice Guidelines and Recommendations | ACP (acponline.org) and American College of Gastroenterology Guidelines: Guidelines - American College of Gastroenterology (gi.org). The term of the contract is a base year plus four (4) one-year option periods. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be available on July 10, 2023 or shortly thereafter and will be posted via the Contract Opportunities website. Prospective Offerors should not expect notification of issuance of amendments other than via the Contract Opportunities website and are responsible for obtaining all amendments as posted. Prior to submission of a quote, Offerors are expected to read the solicitation documentation in its entirety to fully understand the scope of work and terms and conditions of the requirement(s). VHA RPO West NCO 17 Health Care Resources Branch I is planning to solicit for a vendor who can provide On-Site Gastroenterology Services for Veterans within the area of the Audie L Murphy VA Medical Center. The Audie L Murphy VA Medical Center is looking for a Contactor that can provide four (4) FTE Gastroenterologist. VHA RPO West NCO 17 Health Care Resources Branch I is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of potential small business concerns (e.g., HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB, Woman Owned, etc.) with the capability to fulfill this acquisition.
