Massage Therapy Services The purpose of this amendment to solicitation 36C25723Q0453, is to delete A.6 SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS from the solicitation, and post the Questions and Answers received from potential offerors. Question: RFQ for Massage Therapy Services at the Dallas VAMC includes a Wage Determination document, but I can't seem to find a listing for Massage Therapists anywhere in that Wage Determination. Is it possible that the wrong Wage Determination was attached? Answer: RFQ solicitation includes the correct Wage Determination for Dallas. However, the Wage Determination does not list the massage therapy classification. On occasion, the wage determination does not provide a rate for a particular occupation needed in the performance of the contract. Because of this, SCA provisions contain a conformance procedure for the purpose of establishing an SCA-enforceable wage and benefit rate for missing occupational classifications. The contractor must initiate a conformance request using SF1444, Request for Authorization of Additional Classification and Rate, at the time of employment of the unlisted classification. The contracting agency must review the request before that agency submits it to DOL. SF1449 can be downloaded at https://www.gsa.gov/forms-library/request-authorization-additional-classification-and-rate Question: On page 26 of the Solicitation Notice, clause A.6(c) says that Automobile Insurance is required. FAR 28.307-2(c) says that automobile policies are for "covering the operation of all automobiles used in connection with performing the contract." Since no automobiles will be used in the performance of this contract, can this requirement please be removed? Answer: Section A.6 SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS has been deleted from the solicitation see attachment.
