The Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Texas Veterans HCS, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of 38 U.S. Code 8127(c), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b), and following non-competitive procedures authorized in VAAR 819.7007. The associated NAICS code for this service is 811210 with a size standard of $30 Millions and PSC Code J065. The identified vendor is Volcano Corporation, a Philips Healthcare Corporation, is the manufacturer and the only authorized provider ensuring the warranty terms and conditions will not be voided nor compromised. The contractor shall provide the Software License Agreement for the iFR Application in use at the South Texas Health Care System Audie L. Murphy facility. The contractor shall also provide all preventive and corrective maintenance for the equipment. The period of performance shall be one year from the date of award. Preventive maintenance procedures shall be in accordance with the published preventive maintenance manuals and checklists for the equipment listed in the schedule. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
