THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE A REQUEST FOR QUOTE POSTED ON OR ABOUT October 27th, 2022. Repair Damaged Storm Drain 36C25723Q0071 Provide: It is the intent of this Scope of Work that a Contractor shall provide construction services to repair the damaged stormwater drain line at the main entrance of the El Paso VA main clinic. This project will provide for construction of utilities services and finishes necessary in the designated locations for concrete demolition with excavation to locate & repair the existing damaged drain line. A site survey is to be conducted to obtain the estimated horizontal and vertical location of the existing drain line. The work shall include, but not limited to, all labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, tools, equipment and permits necessary to provide for the removal of the existing concrete, rebar, soil, repair existing drain line, reattaching repaired drain line to existing stormwater system, backfill soil with proper compaction, patching & painting of concrete including the concrete curve. Also, if necessary, repair the existing asphalt road affected by this project. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238110 with a small business size standard of $16.5 M. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The POC for this project will be Tailor Brown. Important Notice: Apparent successful offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
