Information Only Pre-Solicitation Notice: The Amarillo Veterans Health Care System, Network Contracting Office (NCO17), anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract to Upgrade Fire Alarm Systems throughout the campus. at the Amarillo Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 6010 Amarillo Blvd. West, Amarillo, Texas 79106. The project includes but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall completely prepare site for construction operations. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to upgrade fire alarm system, fire alarm initiating devices, fire system monitoring devices, fire/smoke compartment controls, fire suppression controls, notification devices, and emergency elevator controls to current standards. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work, Specifications and Drawings. Work includes general construction, plumbing, and related work for low voltage electrical, thermal & moisture protection. Contractor must field verify existing conditions and may be asked to perform some work outside of normal business hours due to continuous operations of the facility.
