THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE An Invitation for Bids POSTED ON OR ABOUT 10/27/2022. The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) currently has a requirement for a project to Reconfigure Outpatient Rehab Medicine. 36C257-23-B-0007 This project shall provide all labor, material, equipment and testing services as required to construct to reconfigure outpatient rehab medicine in accordance with all Contract Documents. Project will be located in the basement of building 163 at the Olin E. Teague Veterans Medical Center located at 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas 76504. Contractor Shall use the Plans & Specifications, 674-21-101, Reconfigure Outpatient Rehab Medicine . The scope of this project will require coordination between the contactor, COR and VA staff. Ultimately the means and methods to perform this work and determine a sequence of work will be determined by the contractor. WORK SHALL INCLUDE: This project will reconfigure the spaces that currently house our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service as well as the Outpatient Pharmacy Service. The project is multi-phased and the new space for Outpatient Pharmacy must be fully operation and occupied before work may commence on the new space for PM&RS. The project will include the reconfigurations of the electrical, mechanical, IT, Nurse Call, and other systems as called for in the Construction Documents. This project will renovate a single floor (fourth floor) of the hospital bed tower in a effort to provide private patient bedrooms for our patients and their visiting family members. Since this is a 24-hour healthcare facility, some elements of the work shall require after-hour and weekend work. The work will need to be phased and completed one wing at a time. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 M. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. The POC for this project will be Andres Garcia. Important Notice: Apparent successful bid must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
