PRESOLICIATION NOTICE, 36C257-23-B-0005, Correct Site Safety Deficiencies THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE An Invitation for Bids POSTED ON OR ABOUT 9/1/2022. The West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS) currently has a requirement for a project to Correct Site Safety Deficiencies. 36C257-23-B-0005 The project will include all labor, materials, equipment, supervision to perform the required work to correct site safety deficiencies located at the Audie L. Murphy Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center located at WTVAHCS, 300 Veterans Blvd. Big Spring, Texas 79720 per the plans and specifications. Contractor Shall use the Plans & Specifications, 519-19-100 Correct Site Safety Deficiencies . The scope of this project will require coordination between the contactor, COR and VA staff. Ultimately the means and methods to perform this work and determine a sequence of work will be determined by the contractor. WORK SHALL INCLUDE: The contractor shall provide the specific services and deliverables described below: The work effort, however, does suggest a general, phased sequence of construction. 1. Identify sequence of work. 2. Submit work/safety plan for approval 3. Remove sections of wall to expose windows 4. Remove old windows and install new windows. 5. Replace section of wall and finish. 6. Clean up and approval of work. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 M. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. Important Notice: Apparent successful bid must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
