Design Build Replace Boilers and Piping Amarillo VAHCS 36C2572R0010 The Contractor will Replace Boilers & Piping, VA Project # 504-18-119, has been established to replace existing steam boilers, condensate piping, and replacement of water heaters serving the hospital (Bldgs. 1 and 28), dietary services (Bldg. 4) and Community Living Center (CLC) (Bldg. 29) at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center. The project is to be delivered using the Design-Build approach, with a Design-Build Contractor/Designer team to continue with development of the project past the 35%/Schematic Design 1 (SD1) stage of design. Design and Construction Schedules moving forward from 35% are intended for the Design/Build teams to furnish as part of their proposals. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 M. The magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. The POC for this project will be Michael Walls. Important Notice: Apparent successful offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
