The contractor will provide a full range of collection, disposal and recycling of regulated medical and sharp waste. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, other items and services necessary to perform Regulated Medical Waste Removal, Sharps Container Treatment/Recycling, and Final Disposal for the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS). This requirement is based on the needs of the government and can be modified during the performance period (Base Year + Option Years) to comply with the current conditions of the healthcare system and its associated facilities outlined within the PWS. Amendment 0001 has been published on 10/14/2022 to provide a time extension while responses to questions are being gathered. Amendment 0002 has been published on 10/21/2022 to provide a time extension while responses to questions are being gathered. Amendment 0003 has been published on 10/27/2022 to provide an additional time extension as the Government is currently revising the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Another amendment will be posted providing answers to questions and revised PWS. Amendment 0004 has been published on 11/08/2022 to provide answers to questions and a revised Performance Work Statement. A time extension for submitting quotes has been authorized with this amendment.
