Emergency Stand-by Generator RFI#4. If a rental/lease, please identify the maximum number of years or hours of operation acceptable for rental/lease?  Not a rental/lease DISCUSSION: Many well-performing Tier 4 generators that meet the Pg 30, Para D.3.(a) criteria are 5+ years old with 5,000+ hours.  Only new equipment will be accepted RFI#5. Please identify any warranty requirement past delivery / acceptance? Standard two (2) year warranty on generator found on generator found during market research, unless otherwise noted. Generator may have hours on them, due to testing. Generator must have a warranty. Equipment is considered NEW , if 2019 is the last year when the machine was manufactured. If the current model has newer models manufactured after 2019, then the 2019 equipment is not NEW just unsold stock. RFI #6.  Request Identify any periodic maintenance or repair requirement?  Maintenance and repair in not included unless the equipment is still under warranty. RFI#7 Request removal of Cat (Caterpillar) brand specific characteristics and use of salient performance characteristics? As long as it meets the SOW then other brands can be submitted.  RFI#8. Request identify if the Generator is to be provided with a full fuel tank, less than full, or empty of fuel? As long as it meets the SOW then other brands can be submitted. RFI #9. Request identify if Offeror is to provide set-up of equipment and operator or maintenance training? If so, identify training focus, number of hours and number of iterations of training?  Just start -up to ensure the equipment work when received.
