This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing and or 336120, Heavy Duty Truck Manufacturing with small business size standards of 750 employees and 1,500 employees respectively. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, is seeking to lease a Mobile Sterile Processing System to be located at 5001 N Piedras, El Paso, TX 79930 in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work. The facility is constructing a Sterile Processing facility and a mobile unit will allow the facility to continue to perform decontamination, manual cleaning and sterilization procedures during the construction project (base year + four option years). Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the stated supplies and services at a fair and reasonable price are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via email to Contract Specialist Shannon Hodgson at shannon.hodgson@va.gov and Contracting Officer Danise Burt at danised.burt@va.gov no later than June 2nd, 2022, 4:00 PM CST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses should include the following information: Company name, address, SAM UEI number, point of contact name, phone number and email address Business size and representation(s) of the company (i.e., Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Hubzone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc.) Is company considered a small business under the NAICS code 339113 and/or 336120, identified under this sources sought? Capability statement Does the company manufacture the referenced items or products being offered? If not, what is the business size of the manufacturer of the items being offered? What is the manufacturing country of origin of the items? Does the company alter, assemble, modify the lease items and/or products being offered in any way? If so, state how and what is altered, assembled, modified. Does the company have a current federal contract (i.e., GSA, NAC , SAC, NASA SEWP etc.)? If so, provide the contract type, number and expiration date. If the company has a current federal contract, are the leased items and/or products being offered available on the contract?
