The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17, is seeking potential contractors to provide Emergency Medicine Physician Services. Emergency Medicine Physician Services will be funded and managed by the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) – San Antonio VA Medical Center, 7400 Merton Minter Ave., San Antonio, TX 78229. The contractor shall furnish all personnel to perform onsite Emergency Department Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of STVHCS. The contractor shall be responsible for providing a minimum of 18 emergency medicine physicians (estimated 18,992 hours/year) to be credentialed and be available for scheduling. Schedules at a minimum shall consist of: (Emergency Department is open 24/7 including Holidays).
