This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The North Texas VA Heath Care System is seeking to identify vendors, regardless of socio-economic affiliation, capable of satisfying the maintenance service support need as detailed below. The contractor shall provide maintenance service support for the Accuray Radixact System located at the VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX, which is part of the VA North Texas Healthcare System (VANTHCS). The Accuray Radixact System is a linear accelerator that provides image guided, intensity modulated radiation therapy for targeted treatment of tumors. The contractor shall provide all required service, labor, travel, and parts for the VA software and equipment in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Field service engineers must be licensed or contracted with the original manufacturer in order to work on the equipment. All parts must be certified new from the original manufacturer.
