The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. Synopsis This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought synopsis only with the purpose of gaining knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to the appropriate North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 336112, Light Truck and Utility Vehicle Manufacturing (Size Standard: 1500 employees). Responses to this Sources Sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions and are not considered adequate responses to a potential future solicitation announcement. After reviewing all responses to this synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published via the Contracting Opportunities website. Responses to this Sources Sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the anticipated solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the actual solicitation announcement, in addition to responding to this Sources Sought announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) is seeking SDVOSB/VOSB sources that can provide personnel, transportation, supervision, equipment, supplies, materials, installation, and setup for brand name or equal product to five (5) each (EA) of the requested golf carts in support of the Veterans Affairs South Texas Health Care System (STVHCS), solely for Veteran beneficiaries of STVHCS, located in San Antonio, TX 78251. The Contractor will be expected to provide the STVHCS with brand name or equal products to the Club Car Villager8. The Government reserves the right to determine whether products are actually equal to the brand name. Interested parties capable of providing the required items are asked to respond to this Sources Sought notice. Responses to this notice should include a capabilities statement to include the following: Company name, Address, Size Standard, DUNS, Cage Code, TIN Point of contact (Name, Phone Number and e-Mail Address) NAICS Code 336112 and Small Business Standard MUST be assigned to the company Socioeconomic Status Capabilities Statement Provide proof of past performance (provide proof of contracts that the contractor has provided and installed the product(s) and/or of the company who will be performing the installation). Proof must be provided if the contractor is an authorized distributor of the required product(s) if the contractor is not the manufacturer. If the interested party will NOT be supplying the product and/or installation and setup, the contractor MUST provide information on the company it would use. In addition, you must provide a Letter of Intent from the third-party company (explaining their agreement to perform the installations accordingly), along with references of their past service installations. Past performance must not be negative in any previous contracts, based on the Contract Performance Assessment System and the Contracting Officer s knowledge of past requirements. *Limitations on Subcontracting: In the event a subsequent solicitation is issued, there may be SDVOSB/VOSB certification requirements for this procurement. Responses The government intends to award a single contract to purchase the medical items listed above. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to yomika.brock@va.gov. Subject line shall reflect the synopsis number and description: 36C257-22-Q-0209, Golf Carts. Responses must be received no later than January 7, 2022, 4:00 P.M. CST. Responses must be received via e-mail only. Telephone, fax, or mail responses will not be accepted. This purpose of this notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
