THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE AN INVITATION FOR BID WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT 9/16/2022. The South Texas VA Health Care System currently has a requirement to Replace 7th Floor Roof. 36C25722B0041 The purpose of this project is to provide all labor, equipment and materials to replace existing 7th Floor Roof. This will include, but is not limited to, vapor barrier, insulation and tapered insulation, built-up roof plies, coverboard and cap sheet. The Contractor shall haul demoed items off site when their dumpster is full. All environmental regulations should be followed by the contractor during the course of this contract in accordance with Federal Government standards and policies when working on a federal government owned property. EXTERIOR LIGHTING UPGRADES AND REPAIR: Along with demo, the Contractor shall be responsible for installation of a new vapor barrier, insulation and tapered insulation, built-up roof plies, coverboard and cap sheet returning the roof to a complete reclaimed/established area, acceptable by the VA. New conduit, for any existing wiring shall be provided in accordance with the A-E s drawings and specs. The contractor shall provide as-builts of the area to show work as actually installed in accordance with the A-E s Design. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 with a small business size standard of $16.5 M. The magnitude of this project is. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Important Notice: Apparent successful offerors must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
