Presolicitation Notice: The Network Contracting Office, NCO17 anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract for, Replace Chillers at Energy Center, Project No. 549A4-20-700 located at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center (VAMC), 1201 East 9th Street, Bonham, TX 75418. The method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), with an estimated issue date of September 14, 2022, and a projected bid due date of October 13, 2022. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for VA Project Replace Chiller at Bldg. 11 Boiler Plant, as required by provide SOW, Specification and Drawings. Work includes general construction, demolition, and alterations necessary for replacement of existing chiller, pumps and associated appurtenances, and installation of new chiller, pumps and associated appurtenances, including the necessary removal of existing structures, equipment pads and construction of certain other items. Electrical Work: Work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required electrical construction work on this project as indicated in the construction documents. Mechanical Work: Work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required Mechanical construction work on this project as indicated in construction documents. All work shall be performed during normal working hours, Monday Friday, 7:30am 5:00pm. Project duration shall be 240 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Bids will only be accepted from certified SDVOSB contractors. The applicable NAISC code is 238220, $16.5 Mil. The magnitude of the construction estimated cost range: $1,000,000.00 - $2,000,000.00.
