Pre-Solicitation Notice: Network Contracting Office, NCO17 anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract for, Upgrade Fire Systems and Doors, Project No. 504-19-102, Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center, 6010 Amarillo Blvd, West, Amarillo, Texas 79106 The method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), with an estimated issue date of March 21, 2022, and a projected bid due date of April 21, 2022. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tooling, and supervision to remove and replace designated smoke and fire doors, frames and hardware in buildings 1, 4, 28, 29 and 33 as per drawings and specifications. This project also has four (4) add alternates which include upgrading the fire pumps, replacing the dry system clapper valve, optional fire and smoke doors, and replacing all exit signs with new LED exit signage. All work will be performed at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center, located at 6010 Amarillo Blvd. West, Amarillo, Texas 79106. Work includes general construction per the provided Scope of Work (SOW), Specifications and Drawings. Project duration shall be 360 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The applicable NAISC code is 236220, $39.5 Mil. The magnitude of the construction estimated cost range: $1,000,000 - $5,000,000.
