The method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), with an estimated issue date of October 15, 2021, and a projected bid due date of November 15, 2021. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to make improvements to the Fire Suppression System in building specified in the contract documents located at the Doris Miller VAMC, 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, Texas 76504. The work shall be in accordance with the provided specifications and drawings. Work includes general construction, alterations, necessary improvements to the fire suppression system, fire suppression system components and sprinkler heads as identified in the construction drawings, and any associated repair construction and certain other items. Project duration shall be 365 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
