This notice is intended strictly for Market Research. This is a Request for Information ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, bids, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Government is conducting a market survey to help determine the availability and technical capability of qualified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, small businesses, HUBZone small businesses and/or other large businesses capable of serving the needs identified below. This notice of intent is for open market as well as Federal Supply Schedule items. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women-owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business, relative to NAICS 325413. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Commercial Business Opportunities website http://www.beta.sam.gov or GSA E-Buy at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs North Texas VA Healthcare System in Dallas, Texas, intends to award a firm-fixed price service contract for procurement of reagents and supplies for microbiological, immunological, chemistry, histology, and molecular testing. Scope Agreement to include: Media, testing kits, reagents, and supplies. See Attachment A for complete kit descriptions and quantities. Location Reagents and supplies to be used by the Immunology (1B-406), Molecular Diagnostics (1B-424), Core (1B-450), Histology (1B-328) and Microbiology (1B-400) testing areas at VA North Texas HCS, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216. Period of Performance Requested period is a one-year contract. Period of time: October 1, 2021 through September 30,2022 Deliverables/Supplies All items listed in attachment (Appendix A) are to be supplied by one vendor. No substitutions of kits, supplies or reagents, or components as the request is for items used for current validated testing. Items will be ordered as needed by Immunology, Molecular Diagnostics, Core, Histology or Microbiology staff. This order will NOT be fulfilled in one delivery. Media expiration date should be greater than 30 days. Please advise if you can provide the deliverables for this requirement.
